“Life always seem to speed right by you. After Peter and I got engaged I was looking for a photographer to capture this exciting time in our life. I didn’t really vibe with anyone I found until a couple of months later, when I basically forgot about that idea, and Barett of CivicPhotos reached out to me. How he captures the love in such a natural way got me so excited to have them done by him. Barett found such a beautiful location for us to shoot at. Capturing us at the sunrise on the beaches in Miami Beach, with a tropical vibe that takes me back to where we first met on St Barts in the Caribbean. I loved the photographs of Peter and I by the rooftop pool, with the high-rises and big city life in the background that our new life in South Florida offers.”
Peter Says:
“Emelie and I actually met on Tinder. I was living on St.Barts as the time and she was visiting from Sweden and was on the neighboring island of St Martin. I bought her a boat ticket and shipped her right over. We hit it off AMAZINGLY! Fast forward a year. Emelie and I were living together on St.Barts and Hurricane Irma was barreling down on us. It was a terrifying experience to say the least. Emelie and I were one of the lucky ones and rode it out safely. Unfortunately my villa did not. The whole place turned into a disgusting swamp 24 hours later and we were forced to move out from our paradise getaway. Luckily we have some friends in South Florida and got a nice little apartment in Delray Beach, a few blocks from the beach.
